Our 3 piece airlock comes standard with every 1 gallon fermentation kit, including our 1 gallon home beer brewing kit, hard cider kit & more. As your home brewery expands you’ll likely need another carboy airlock or two. Whether you ferment in a glass carboy, a bucket or any type of vessel, a 3 piece airlock will come in handy. A 3 piece airlock is unique because it can be taken apart for easy sanitizing.
A carboy airlock lets naturally occurring CO2 escape your fermenter during fermentation. Our airlock fits perfectly into a #6.5 rubber stopper, which comes standard in our 1 gallon beer kits and in the Catalyst Fermentation System.
