My kitchen is kind of cold, and this heater keeps my kombucha at the right temperature! Very easy to use.
Works wonderful, and makes the kumbacha ferment faster as our house is cooler.
Very easy to use, high quality, actually bought a second one so I can brew two jars of kombucha at one time.
My attempts to brew during the winter resulted in ceasing to brew a couple years ago. The ambient temp in my home was not conducive to keeping the brew at an ideal temperature range and the process would drag on and essentially was too slow to be worth the effort. My current home is old and drafty and in need of some new double-pane windows. This heat wrap works even on my large two gallon jar despite the heating pad circumventing 3/4 of the jars diameter only. I have it on high as my home is typically 65 to 68 degrees this time of year. The only recommendations I have to improve the design is the Velcro strap needs changing to truly fit a two gallon jar as advertised. The loop side next to the double ring is unnecessary as it will not attached to the hook side regardless of jar size. Extend the hook portion of the tape by a few inches past we here it currently ends and changes to hook on the strap. The overall length of loop tape could also be extended by 4 inches and it will attach securely to itself as intended. Regardless of the design the wrap works beautifully, and I am happily starting a new brew every 4 to 5 days.
I am so happy with the kombucha heat wrap! I have been struggling to make kombucha and always just thought I was doing something wrong but I now realize it was a temperature issue. Thanks to the heat wrap I can now make a good batch every time! And it's so easy to use!
