Go-Ferm is a natural yeast rehydration nutrient that allows for faster onset of fermentation and enhances fermentation kinetics. It contains inactive yeast and micronutrients.

Go-Ferm provides key minerals and vitamins to yeast before it is pitched, increasing yeast’s viability and strengthening its fermentation performance.

This product is unique because it is added to yeast as it rehydrates in water. Adding it to the rehydration water means the yeast is under less stress and can better soak up nutrients before being added to wort or must. 

It’s recommended to use Go-Ferm in conjunction with other Yeast Nutrients. NOTE: other yeast nutrients, like Fermaid K, should NOT be added during yeast rehydration as they are toxic to yeast at high levels. Yeast Nutrients should only be added to must or wort.

Recommended dosage: 1.25 parts Go-Ferm per 1 part yeast.

How to use Go-Ferm Rehydration Nutrient:

  1. Mix with 17 mL of 104ºF water (per gallon of must). It won’t completely dissolve due to fatty acid & sterol content.
  2. Add yeast to the product & water solution. Let rehydrate for 20 minutes.
  3. Pitch yeast, this product & water solution into your must or wort.
