Shipping & Returns
Orders may require up to 3-5 business days for our team to process and package for shipment. Find our kits on Amazon Prime for fast shipping options.
You'll receive 2 emails after your order is placed: (1) an order confirmation email when your order is received & (2) a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking #. Our warehouse operates Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. eastern. Orders placed over the weekend or on holidays (such as Presidents Day) will be processed during regular business hours. Please note that USPS, UPS & other carriers may not be operational on holidays which may result in shipping/transit delays.
Once a package leaves our warehouse, we're unable to cancel, change the delivery address or make any other changes to an order.
UPS & USPS are our primary shipping partners. If you are unable to receive shipments from USPS, please contact us before placing your order. Please note that Craft a Brew is not responsible for delays incurred by USPS or UPS in transit.
We are unable to ship to PO boxes.
Free shipping is applied to physical orders totaling $99+ before taxes & shipping are added and after discounts are applied. Free shipping does not apply to orders shipping outside of the contiguous United States. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Internationally are not applicable.
Gift cards do not apply toward the $99 order total.
If your order qualifies for free shipping, you will see a FREE shipping option and a regular ground shipping option. This paid method IS NOT an expedited rate. If you require expedited shipping, email us at support@craftabrew.com.
We work with USPS & UPS (and occasionally other carriers) to ship packages. If you can’t receive shipments from a particular mail carrier, contact us via email BEFORE placing your order: support@craftabrew.com. Our team chooses the best carrier for each shipment based on several factors, such as which carrier can provide the speediest service to you based on your location, the weight or size of the parcel, whether the package is traveling overseas, etc. ALL SCOBY claims will ship via USPS.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be purchased from CraftaBrew.com and have an accompanying order number. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Refunds will be issued via the form of payment used at checkout OR in the form of a CraftaBrew.com gift card. Contact us at support@craftabrew.com in order to initiate a return. Returns not authorized via email with Craft a Brew support will not be accepted.
We accept returns on unopened or defective items within 30 days of receipt. If your purchase is more than 30 days old, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. We do not offer free return shipping. Craft a Brew will provide a return label, but the cost of the label will be deducted from the refund amount.
Catalyst Fermentation Systems must be unused and un-assembled to be eligible for a return & refund. (Zip-ties and protective plastic in-tact, otherwise product can be damaged in transit.) Upon receipt, returned items will be inspected and, if applicable, a refund will be issued via the form of payment used at checkout.
We ship worldwide; however, we cannot ship our products to countries where brewing or consuming alcohol is prohibited. If you place an order for shipping to a restricted country, we will cancel the order and issue a refund. We are unable to ship orders to package forwarding or freight forwarding addresses.
Shipping Liability:By placing an international order with Craft a Brew, you agree to take full financial responsibility for the product and shipping costs. Once an order leaves our warehouse, Craft a Brew is no longer liable for lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen shipments. International orders are handled by multiple parties, including customs agencies and local postal services, and we cannot control or influence their operations.
No Refunds or Replacements:We do not issue refunds or replacements for international orders that are lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen after they leave our warehouse. This includes cases where the package is marked as delivered but is not received by the recipient.
Customs and Duties:Recipients are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees required by their country. These costs are not included in our shipping prices, and we cannot estimate or reimburse them. If your package is returned to us due to unpaid duties, taxes, or customs issues, no refund will be issued.
Tracking Information:All international orders include tracking. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number. It is the recipient’s responsibility to monitor the shipment and contact local postal services or customs offices as needed. If a package is marked as delivered by the local postal service, we are unable to assist with disputes regarding delivery.
Agreement to Terms:By purchasing and shipping an international order with Craft a Brew, you agree to this policy. We strongly recommend reviewing your country’s import policies and ensuring the shipping address is accurate and secure before placing your order.
Orders will require time for payment processing, address verification and order processing. Typical transit times from our Florida warehouse are depicted below. Please note that your order may take longer to reach you than expected due to carrier delays.
NOTE: If your order contains a pre-order item, your entire order won't ship until the pre-order item is available. See below for a map of estimated transit times once parcels leave our warehouse:
When some shipments fall under a certain weight threshold, a tracking # will not be populated along with the package. If you received an order confirmation email, but don't have your tracking # yet - it is coming.
If your order contains a pre-order item, your entire order will ship once the pre-order item is available. We can not partial ship an order to two different addresses. If you need some items sent to a separate address you'll need to place two different orders.
If anything is damaged in transit, upon receipt or in use, notify Craft a Brew immediately at support@craftabrew.com and we'll be happy to assist. Pictures of the damaged item or packaging, proof of purchase (order #) & a brief explanation of the issue are required.
