The Catalyst Fermentation System

Regular price $229.99

Brew with precision and efficiency using The Catalyst Fermentation System, a 6.5-gallon conical fermenter designed to simplify fermentation, trub removal, and transfers in one durable vessel. Made from BPA-free, scratch-resistant Tritan®, this system helps reduce oxygen exposure while giving brewers greater control from fermentation through bottling.

The Catalyst Fermentation System is ideal for homebrewers looking to upgrade from traditional buckets or glass carboys. Its conical design allows yeast and trub to settle naturally at the bottom, making it easier to manage fermentation and improve beer clarity without disturbing the finished beer.

An industry-leading 3-inch butterfly valve provides smooth, controlled flow for dumping trub, harvesting yeast, or transferring beer. The integrated Trub Trap™ fits any standard wide-mouth mason jar, allowing brewers to collect sediment or yeast without siphoning or additional equipment.

This fermenter holds up to 6.5 gallons and is constructed from durable Tritan®, offering the clarity of glass with superior impact resistance. It is BPA-free, dishwasher safe, and built for repeated use across many brewing cycles.

Crafted for long-term reliability and streamlined brewing workflows, The Catalyst Fermentation System is widely used by homebrewers seeking cleaner fermentation, easier transfers, and consistent, professional-quality results.

How To Use The Catalyst Fermentation System

Innovative Materials

The Catalyst Fermentation System's tank is made from Tritan®, a medical-grade, BPA-free, polymer. This food-safe polymer is the highest quality used in a fermenter, providing the clarity of glass with the durability and convenience of plastic. This material acts as an excellent barrier against oxygen, making our tank 93% more scratch-resistant than other plastic fermenters. It is dishwasher safe and withstands temperatures of up to 230º Fahrenheit.

The Trub Trap consists of a 3” butterfly valve, and is compatible with any wide mouth mason jar, so you can remove kettle trub and fermentation trub, pitch a yeast starter, harvest yeast, and bottle without disturbing, or oxidizing that precious beer.

Overview: The Catalyst Fermentation System

Kettle Trub (Pre-Fermentation)
Use a 24 oz. mason jar to catch trub, hops and other pre-fermentation sediment, then discard it by closing the valve and unscrewing the mason jar.
Yeast Starter & Primary
Use a 16 oz. mason jar as a yeast starter, attach and open the valve to pitch. Leave the jar attached to collect all of the primary fermentation trub.
Secondary & Yeast Harvesting
Use an 8 oz. mason jar during secondary to catch all of your viable yeast and refrigerate for later use.
Bottling
Our bottling attachment makes bottling easier than ever. Just screw on the included transfer funnel, attach it to the transfer tubing and open the valve. Let gravity do all the work, down to the last, perfectly clear bottle of beer.
