Looking for a way to brew clearer beer? Use Whirlfloc on brew day to easily reduce haze.
Whirlfloc Tablets contain a blend of Irish Moss and purified carrageenan that help draw haze-causing proteins and beta glucans out of suspension. The result is a clearer finished beer.
Carrageenan is a seaweed extract that bonds to proteins, making it great for removing proteins from a homebrewed beer when added at the end of the boil.
Whirlfloc is not recommended for beers that are intentionally hazy, like a Hefeweizen.
Available in bags of 10 tablets or 50 tablets.
How To Use Whirlfloc Tablets To Clarify Beer:
On brew day, add to wort at 5 minutes left in the boil. Use half a tablet per 5 gallons of beer.
