3 Piece Airlock

Our 3 Piece Airlock comes standard with every 1 gallon fermentation kit, including our 1 gallon home beer brewing kit, hard cider kit and more. As your home brewery expands you’ll likely need another carboy airlock or two. Whether you ferment in a glass carboy, a fermenter, a bucket, or any type of vessel, a 3 Piece Airlock will come in handy. A Three Piece Airlock is unique because it can be taken apart for easy sanitizing.

A carboy airlock lets naturally occurring CO2 escape your fermenter during fermentation. Our 3 Piece Airlock fits perfectly into a #6.5 rubber stopper, which comes standard in our 1 gallon beer kits and in the Catalyst Fermentation System.
