Belgian Ale Yeast
Looking for extra yeast for homebrewing beer? Try our Belgian Yeast, a strain used in our 1 gallon Belgian ale beer kits.
This pre-measured 2g packet of Belgian Ale Yeast ferments 1 gallon of beer. This is yeast strain is used in our 1 gallon Belgian Abbey Dubbel and Golden Strong Ale recipes.
This yeast strain produces fruitiness and high alcohol content in finished beers. Belgian Ale Yeast is very similar to Safale BE-256.
This Belgian ale yeast strain thrives in a fermentation temperature range of 54 - 77°F (ideally 59 - 68ºF), and tends to produce fruitier flavor at higher fermentation temperatures.
Our active dry yeasts do not require hydration or a yeast starter before pitching to begin fermentation.
HOW-TO use our Belgian Yeast in a 1 gallon beer:
2. Pitch entire packet & aerate for a full minute to begin fermentation.
