Diammonium Phosphate, or DAP for short, is an excellent yeast nutrient for homemade meads and wines. Use diammonium phosphate to supplement nutrient deficient sugars, like honey, with essential minerals to keep yeast healthy and productive during fermentation.
DAP is ideal for musts (unfermented wines) that aren't naturally nutrient dense, like non-grape fruit wines, meads or hard seltzers.
100% food-grade Diammonium Phosphate. Package contains 4 oz.
Recommended dosage: 0.5 - 0.75 grams of DAP per gallon. Add to must or wort at the beginning of fermentation.
