Fruity Ale Yeast
Looking for extra yeast for homebrewing beer? Try our Fruity Ale Yeast, a strain used in a selection of our 1 gallon beer recipe kits.
This pre-measured 2 gram packet of Fruity English Ae Yeast ferments 1 gallon of beer. This yeast strain is used in our 1 gallon Chocolate Milk Stout, New England IPA & Stone Pale Ale beer recipes. This is also the yeast strain used in our Hard Cider Brew Kit & Hard Cider Recipe Kit.
This yeast strain produces balanced fruity and floral notes. It sediments nicely, leaving beer clearer after fermentation is complete. Fruity Ale Yeast is very similar to Safale S-04.
This English Ale yeast thrives in a fermentation temperature range of 54 - 77°F (ideally 59 - 68ºF). It is an ideal yeast for English & American beer styles: English Browns & Milds, Stouts, Porters & NEIPAs. You can also use this yeast for fruit beer or crafting your own hard apple cider!
Our active dry yeasts do not require hydration or a yeast starter to begin fermentation.
HOW-TO use our Fruity Ale Yeast in a 1 gallon beer:
2. Pitch entire packet & aerate for a full minute to begin fermentation.
