Looking for extra yeast for making wine? Red Star Premier Cote des Blancs Yeast is a traditional aromatic strain for fermenting sweet white wines, fruit wines & even hard ciders.

This yeast is excellent for Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and more.

Premier Cote des Blancs yeast is a slower fermenting strain that exhibits a lower alcohol tolerance than other yeasts.

This packet of active dry yeast ferments up to 5 gallons of wine. Red Star recommends rehydrating yeast before pitching.

How To Use Red Star Premier Cote des Blancs Yeast:

  1. Rehydrate yeast in 50 mL of water at a temperature of 95-100ºF.
  2. Wait 20 minutes before adding to wine must.
