A small universal stopper is a handy homebrewing accessory that is compatible with many carboy sizes. A carboy stopper provides a seal on your fermenter, while allowing CO2 to escape through an airlock. Recommended for 3, 5, 6 & 6.5 gallon glass carboys. Not recommended for 1 gallon carboys or The Catalyst. Try a #6.5 Rubber Stopper for 1 gallon carboys.
The drilled hole fits a 3-piece airlock, like The Hex, or a twin bubbler airlock. or A universal stopper’s unique shape and longer taper provides a snug fit and better seal, making it less likely to slide or pop out of place during fermentation. This small universal carboy stopper features a lip that prevents it from falling or being pushed into a carboy.
