The Catalyst Fermentation System

Regular price $229.99
A 6.5-gallon conical fermentation system designed to simplify trub removal, yeast harvesting, transfers, and bottling in one durable vessel.
  • 6.5-gallon conical fermenter system
  • Proprietary 3-inch butterfly valve
  • BPA-free Tritan® construction
  • Simplifies trub removal and yeast harvesting
  • Ferment, clarify, and bottle in one vessel

The Catalyst Fermentation System combines fermentation, trub collection, yeast harvesting, and bottling into one streamlined vessel. Its conical design allows sediment to naturally settle into the Trub Trap™ system for easier removal without disturbing finished beer.

The oversized butterfly valve provides smooth flow control for dumping trub, collecting yeast, and transferring beer while minimizing oxygen exposure throughout the brewing process.

Unlike traditional buckets or glass carboys, Tritan® construction offers excellent clarity with enhanced durability and scratch resistance for repeated brewing use.

  • 6.5 Gallon Tritan® Tank with Lid
  • Fermenter Stand
    -Base
    -2 Legs
    -2 Support Beams
    -8 Screws
  • 3” Proprietary Butterfly Valve
  • Bottling Attachment
  • Transfer Tubing
  • Tubing Clamp
  • Rubber Stopper
  • 16 oz Wide Mouth Mason Jar
  • Allen Wrench

The Catalyst tank is made from Tritan®, a BPA-free, food-safe polymer designed for brewing durability and clarity.

Benefits include:

  • Glass-like transparency
  • Superior impact resistance compared to glass
  • 93% greater scratch resistance than standard plastic fermenters
  • Excellent oxygen barrier properties
  • Dishwasher-safe construction
  • Heat resistance up to 230°F

Kettle Trub Collection

Attach a mason jar to collect hop matter and pre-fermentation trub directly after transferring wort into the fermenter.

Primary Fermentation

Use the Trub Trap™ system to collect sediment and fermentation trub while keeping beer undisturbed.

Secondary & Yeast Harvesting

Swap mason jars to collect reusable yeast for future batches.

Bottling

Attach the included bottling attachment and transfer tubing to bottle directly from the fermenter using gravity-fed flow.

The Catalyst Fermentation System is ideal for:

  • Homebrewers upgrading from buckets or glass carboys
  • Brewers seeking easier trub management
  • Brewers wanting to reduce oxygen exposure
  • Users interested in yeast harvesting
  • Beer, cider, mead, and fermentation projects up to 6.5 gallons

This system works especially well for brewers looking to streamline bottling and improve overall fermentation workflow efficiency.

How To Use The Catalyst Fermentation System

Innovative Materials

The Catalyst Fermentation System's tank is made from Tritan®, a medical-grade, BPA-free, polymer. This food-safe polymer is the highest quality used in a fermenter, providing the clarity of glass with the durability and convenience of plastic. This material acts as an excellent barrier against oxygen, making our tank 93% more scratch-resistant than other plastic fermenters. It is dishwasher safe and withstands temperatures of up to 230º Fahrenheit.

The Trub Trap consists of a 3” butterfly valve, and is compatible with any wide mouth mason jar, so you can remove kettle trub and fermentation trub, pitch a yeast starter, harvest yeast, and bottle without disturbing, or oxidizing that precious beer.

Overview: The Catalyst Fermentation System

Kettle Trub (Pre-Fermentation)
Use a 24 oz. mason jar to catch trub, hops and other pre-fermentation sediment, then discard it by closing the valve and unscrewing the mason jar.
Yeast Starter & Primary
Use a 16 oz. mason jar as a yeast starter, attach and open the valve to pitch. Leave the jar attached to collect all of the primary fermentation trub.
Secondary & Yeast Harvesting
Use an 8 oz. mason jar during secondary to catch all of your viable yeast and refrigerate for later use.
Bottling
Our bottling attachment makes bottling easier than ever. Just screw on the included transfer funnel, attach it to the transfer tubing and open the valve. Let gravity do all the work, down to the last, perfectly clear bottle of beer.
