Demerara is minimally processed raw sugar extracted from sugarcane. It has a richness, body and complexity that other sugars lack. It adds caramel and toffee flavor, along with darker color, to a homebrewed soda or beer. Excellent in darker styles, stouts and Belgian Dubbels.

Demerara Sugar is perfect for soda making, priming sugar substitutes, or boosting gravity in dark ales.
