Curious about Kveik yeast? K.14 Eitrheim Kveik Yeast from Kveik Yeastery is a fruit-forward Norwegian yeast strain with prominent apricot and peach esters, plus secondary notes of orange and pineapple. Higher fermentation temperatures will intensify these flavors.
Sourced from the Eitrheim family in Tokheim, Norway, this strain is ideal for NEIPAs, pale ales, stouts, and other hazy or expressive styles.
Ferments in just 3–4 days at 88–95ºF, but has a flexible fermentation temperature range between 59–100ºF. Excellent for brewers looking for juicy results without precise temperature control.
This active dry yeast does not require hydration or a yeast starter to begin fermentation. This 7g packet treats a 5 gallon batch of beer.
