Brew tropical, juicy IPAs with LalBrew Pomona™ Hybrid IPA Yeast. This strain was bred for flavor and fermentation performance in hoppy beers. Named after the goddess of fruit trees, LalBrew Pomona™ produces peach, citrus and tropical fruit notes. It's a fruity, stress-tolerant yeast strain that enhances biotransformation (activation of desirable hop flavor & aroma) and creates stable haze for modern IPA styles. Performs well in high gravity and highly hopped worts, like hazy IPAs, Pale Ales, as well as American Brown Ales or Kettle Sours.
TIP: LalBrew Pomona is robust and re-pitchable. Harvest yeast after fermentation and use our yeast starter kit to re-use in future brews.
LalBrew Pomona ferments best between 64 - 72ºF. This active dry yeast does not require hydration or a yeast starter to begin fermentation. This 11g packet treats a 5 gallon batch of beer.
