The Stasis solves one of the biggest challenges in brewing great beer at home: precise fermentation temperature control.
We do this by scaling down the same glycol chilling technology used by big breweries into a compact, all-in-one temperature control solution designed for homebrewers.
The Stasis combines features previously seen only in commercial style glycol chillers and integrates them into a compact, all-in-one temperature control system specifically for a homebrewer's budget.
It’s the first glycol chiller - ever - to feature internal pumps & thermostats. While most high-end chillers require you to purchase them separately in addition to the glycol chiller itself, these important components come standard-issue inside the Stasis.
No matter what fermenter(s) you have, The Stasis works with your current homebrew setup. Precise digital controls allow you set independent temperatures for two different beers so you can ferment them side-by-side. Ferment an ale at a steady 68°F in one fermenter while you lager at a cool 50°F in another. Simultaneously cold crash an IPA below 36°F while fermenting a saison at 78°F.
- Powerful 1/5 HP compressor
- Stasis cooling capacity is 1,700 BTU/hr -> Other 1/5hp competitor = 1,450 BTU/hr -> Stasis is much more efficient and powerful
- Lowest set temperature 36°F
- Type of glycol recommended: Propylene Glycol (food grade)
- Stasis Includes: Stasis Unit, AC Power Cord (USA 120V Wall Plug), temperature probe assembly (Serial Plug to dual 6 foot probes)
Max Width: 21.125"
Total Height: 11.5"

Overall I really like the Stasis, it’s works great. But in the beginning I had an issue with the stasis that died during a brew. It would not turn on at all after running for 8 hours, just stopped running with no display. So I emailed your support staff but it took 3 days to get back to me, not good when your fermenting a lager. Kaley was very helpful and helped me solve my problem. Turns out the fuse clips didn’t have enough tension. Since then I have brewed two batches and it ran flawlessly. The last batch I noticed a vibrating noise that wasn’t there before, it turns out one of the screws came loose on the left side fan. I pulled the screw out and the vibration went away. I assume the bolt is loose on the inside but I didn’t want to open the unit to fix it because you manual states not to do so with out the help of customer service. As of this review I would still purchase it again.
This has been a great chiller for my Spike CF-5 fermenter! I have used it twice now and seen excellent performance. It brought my 75 degree wort to 36 degrees in just a few hours. I am very satisfied in the the consistency and keeping my wort to a set temperature. This is well worth the cost for what you get. I did a lot of research and felt that I chose the best.
For fermentation processes this little chiller is superb. I was one of the first pre-orders after the kick starter campaign and dispite the delay in shipping (Covid-19) it has worked as advertised. I have run two brews through this thing and fermentation temps are consistent within one degree. Cold crashing takes some time to complete but it gets down to 38 degrees after 12 hours and 36 degrees after 24 hours. This is equivalent to my make shift keezer. I have not run two brews at the same time yet but for homebrewers it meets the needs at an affordable price point ($650 at the time of purchase).
it works fine, a little noisy, but all in all it works fine, only used it once so far. Will see how it holds up.
This thing is great, have two 2.5 gal brew buckets connected. Easily to keep temp and cold crash.
